2014 MMFF Box Office Results – First Day Gross

I guess I was correct in saying my prediction.

Ha! I guess I was correct with my predictions. As released yesterday (by Francis Tolentino, MMDA Chairman) on an interview, The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin was “lording” the lines in theatres. Last year, almost P120 Million was grossed from the first day, though its still too early to announce this year’s first day gross, he hinted on what the rankings may be.

The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin was announced to be the first in rank with My Big Bossing and Feng Shui competing in a neck-to-neck battle for the second and third position. Kubot: Aswang Chronicles came out fourth and didn’t announced the positions of the last four films (English Only, Please; Bonifacio: Unang Pangulo; MM 357; Shake Rattle & Roll XV).

They will announce the amount of the gross in the awards night on December 27, 2014 at the PICC (Philippine International Convention Center) to air on an unannounced channel. Stay tuned for more updates!
