MMFF 2016: Collection of Reviews and Feedback (Sunday Beauty Queen)

The only documentary at this year’s film festival, Sunday Beauty Queen doesn’t need star power and veteran actresses to be engaging to the viewers.

The film is produced by Voyage Studios, Tuk0 Film Productions, Buchi Boy Films and TBA (Tuko+Buchiboy+Artikulo Uno). It stars Rudelyn Acosta, Cherrie Mae Bretana and Mylyn Jacobo.

Sunday Beauty Queen received a Rated A certification from the Cinema Evaluation Board.

Despite being a documentary, Sunday Beauty Queen fits right into the current roster of MMFF films with an interesting take on OFWs’ beauty pageants.

If you want to see the one-day fun of OFWs abroad, watch this heartfelt documentary by Vallerama and you won’t be disappointed.

Sunday Beauty Queen received a Rated A certification from the Cinema Evaluation Board.
